New Vista install

So I have finally taken the plunge and installed Vista.

I decided on Vista Ultimate as I don't like watered down versions of software.  I am the kind of user that does a custom install and selects everything to install, always.

The experience has actually been pretty painless, except for getting used to all the bloody nag screens.  Are you sure you want to do this, are you really, really sure you wan to start that app you double clicked on, just in case you made a mistake I am going to ask you again to confirm that this is what you want to do...  Man that drives me nuts.  But you know what I am not going to switch of UAC.  Nope, I am going to give it a real bash and try and develop on this machine with it on...  I'll blog about that experience.

The other funny thing is I installed Refactor! Pro and then I tried to install CodeRush.NET, but it kept telling me there was already an existing installation.  This just didn't seem right, DevExpress installs have never given me any kind of grieve.  So I decided I'd try and uninstall DXCore, which get's installed with both of these products.  And lo and behold the CodeRush.NET install suddenly works.  Clearly a Vista thing that I will try and figure out if I have some time.
